First Chennai Trip

Greetings,
Before I start sharing my experience, let me introduce you to the Chennai City, formerly known as Madras, located to the South-east coast of Indian ocean, been visited recently by Giant Ghost Tsunami. Chennai is well know for its climate, I can better explain it to have 3 seasons Hot, Hotter, Hottest!!!, having good food and culture.

Day:1 -- I started off my journey on a AC-sleeper class bus and it took me nearly 7:30 hr from B'lore. On reaching Chennai, early morning I could hear Auto/Rickshaw people inviting customers to board their auto, don't be surprised with their generosity it is only to make you realise that you have been cheated with high price on reaching your destination, so I refused to board any auto and got a pre-paid auto booked at booking counter. Here I go on this crazy driving auto, swinging from left to right (off course inside the auto) all the way to Guest house. Unlike in B'lore these people don't understand a word other than Tamil and all you have to do is to sit and pray for safe journey. At last I reached companies Guest house and surprisingly found it to be equipped with good facilities including AC installed rooms. Took a snooze and there back at Chennai office, located close to Finance officer's house.
Oh, just forgot to mention it was 30 C in the morning.

Day:2 -- One more surprise. Found an Indian Lady with an American Lady smoking (Cigarette) on street. Its very unusual to find Indian Ladies smoking on Indian streets (not Americans). Just came into my conscious that India is developing (or dooming???).

Day 3 -- Finally my return day has come, so I and my colleagues planned to visit a beach in Chennai. This beach is named after an English Lady
Annie Besant because of her spread of awareness for freedom among Indians(Against British rule) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Annie_Besant). Though we met an accident on the way to the beach, it was all well in the end.
